BRIEF HISTORY OF THE C.E.O
My name is Ogunbanjo, K. Yomi. I’m an indigene of Ibiade, in
Ogun Water side Local Government, Ogun State, Nigeria. I completed my Primary
School Education at Saint Michael Primary School, Ibiade and proceeded to
Community High School, Ibiade for my High School education.
During this period of time I have been practicing farming. I
have passion for farming which made me to have my own farm, in which I planted:
Cassava, Maize, Vegetables, Pepper, Tomatoes, Cocoyam, Yam, Cashew, Potatoes and
Mangoes for more than 7 years. To know more about farming and to study what I
enjoy doing I decided to study Agriculture in the University.
I attended Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)
Ondo state, Nigeria, where I studied Agricultural Engineering. After my
graduation in 2004, I served my country through the government yearly programme
for graduates named National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). I served at The
Controller Prisons Farm, Ozalla; Benin in Edo state, Nigeria as the Assistant Farm
Manager.
After my service year, I worked at Kings Vegetable (Nig.)
Ltd. For a period of one year (2006-2007) then I travelled to South Africa in
search of a greener pasture. While in South Africa I studied Remote Sensing in
Athabasca University, Alberta, Canada. Afterwards, I studied Business Security
(E-Commerce) at Penn Foster College, Pennsylvania, U.S.A from 2009 – 2010.
During the course of my studies at the aforementioned
institutions, I was employed at The Fruitspot (Pty) Ltd. as a farm Manager for:
Vegeeeze (Pty) Ltd. I worked with them from 2010 then I decided to resign in
2013 due to circumstances beyond my control. After my resignation, I decided to
establish my own company, registered as VICSPOT PTY LTD.
COMPANY PROFILE
VICSPOT (PTY) Ltd is a farm that deals in selling fresh
vegetables, herbs, grains food products
and fruits. The farm is registered on the 11th July, 2013; with our
farms at Klip Court, Pretoria North and Van Riebeeck Street, Glen Austin,
Midrand.
The company was established to supply and provide for the
needs of South African populace, based on the government aids to create more
farmers and farming systems in South Africa to provide food for the masses.
The Company deals with all kinds of Vegetables, grains food
products and fruits; as it will be revealed in the company catalogue.
OUR AIM
To meet the needs of the masses, provide and supply all the
customers at the required period of time (24/7) at your service.
OUR OBJECTVES
To conquer food shortage in South Africa.
To reduce the cost of food production in the country.
To provide job opportunity in South Africa and to introduce
West African kinds of food into South Africa.
OUR VISION
Our Vision is to establish our company all over African
Nations, by the special grace of almighty God.
